There are times when God must bring something in your life to a close so there is room for Him to birth something entirely new in its place.

Richard Blackaby

Angela and I met at a Great Commission Conference called “KC83” (Kansas City, MO 1983) sponsored by Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) and discovered we were neighbors in Chapel Hill, NC and lived on the same street 5 houses from each other. God is good and His timing is perfect. We have now been married almost 40 years and are blessed with 5 children (four married) and five wonderful grandchildren.

The Great Commission of Christ Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20 is what brought us together and still motivates and drives our vision today.

With almost 40 years of ministry experience and 18 years working with Pastors, Churches and Associations as a Senior Consultant in Evangelism and Discipleship with the Baptist State Convention of NC, the Lord called us to serve in several areas of ministry. Presently, Marty serves as a Director of Missions/AMS as well as leading TheJasper.Foundation and training churches in conversational evangelism.

The Lord had led us to start The Jasper Foundation as a Christian and Humanitarian organization to “help the church reach the world.” This idea has been in our hearts and even our personal will for almost 35 years.

The Jasper Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian Missions and Humanitarian ministry. www.TheJasper.Foundation
